Every great journey begins with passion—and ours started with a love for seeing the world through immersive travel experiences. Sea & Sun Travel Agency launched in 2021 to help travelers experience the world in effortless, meaningful ways. Over the years, we’ve sailed the Danube, biked along the Rhine, and toasted sunsets from the deck of AmaMagna—experiences that inspired the creation of Ama by Sea & Sun, our dedicated site celebrating AmaWaterways, our Preferred River Cruise Partner.

Mike and April Robbe founded Sea & Sun Travel Agency to combine their shared passion for exploration and their commitment to crafting travel experiences that inspire connection and discovery. Together, they’ve transformed countless getaways into story-worthy journeys—each one designed with expertise, insight, and care.

Mike & April are Certified River Cruise Experts with AmaWaterways and Mike holds multiple professional certifications with the Cruise Lines International Association (CLIA), including Accredited Cruise Counselor (ACC). He has also completed CLIA’s RiverView Certificate Program, Luxury Cruise Travel Certification Program, and Cruise Groups Certificate Program—giving him advanced knowledge in crafting immersive cruise experiences and expertly managing group sailings.

Both Mike and April hold their Certified Travel Associate (CTA) designations through The Travel Institute, demonstrating their professional commitment to excellence and continuing education. In addition, Mike is recognized by The Travel Institute as both a European Travel Specialist and Luxury Travel Specialist, underscoring his deep expertise in creating sophisticated, culturally rich itineraries across Europe and beyond.

Together, Mike and April have traveled extensively—Mike to over 40 countries and April to more than 30—and bring first-hand insight from their own experiences on the rivers of Europe. They have personally sailed with AmaWaterways multiple times and most recently hosted a group aboard the Christmas Markets on the Rhine sailing in December 2024, offering their travelers a truly magical holiday journey.
